A former coaching inn dating back to 1746. This traditionally styled pub has historical and sporting photographs decorating the walls. There is a separate bar and lounge serves up to seven real ales. This is the closest pub to the local football team Hednesford town FC so can be busy on matchdays. Notorious Highway man Dick Turpin is rumoured to have stopped here on his famous overnight ride from London to York.
