Former coaching Inn dating back to 1746 serving up to eight real ales including several ever changing guests. Hednesford Town Football Club was originally based behind the pub and strong connections remain as the licensee is an ex player and now assistant manager. Sports and historic photographs decorate the walls. Monthly quiz nights are held. It is rumoured that the infamous highwayman Dick Turpin stopped here on his famous ride to York.
