Previously a cinema dating from 1934, this spacious Wetherspoon pub retains much of the cinematic atmosphere and Art Deco flourishes of the period. The light and airy interior allows for three widely separated levels, accentuated by a large window area where the cinema screen used to be. There are around seven changing cask beers, with regional breweries such as Salopian proving popular. There are two beer festivals held within the year.
