A traditional pub that retains a multi-room layout with a spacious bar with an open fire and quarry tile floor, a small snug, plus a room to the rear. There is also a large function room upstairs which can hold live music events. Regular food and music events are held and monthly quiz nights. The pub has its own brewery on site. There are typically three or four own brewed ales on tap from a list of over six changing ales including one porter and a ruby mild. There are also occasional seasonal ales including winter brews.
