A traditional pub that retains a multi-room layout with a spacious bar an open fire and quarry tile floor, a small snug, plus a room to the rear. There is also a large function room upstairs which can hold live music events. The pub has its own brewery on site with regular food and music events, and monthly quiz nights. There are typically between 3 and 5 own brewed ales on tap at any one time from a list in excess of over 6 ever changing ales including one porter and a ruby mild. There are also occasional seasonal ales including winter brews.
