Housed in a former 19th-century prison, the pub was fully refurbished in summer 2022 by Craft Union. It opens late at weekends and has karaoke, live music, sports fixtures on TV and bingo on various days (see FaceBook). Two changing real ales presented in good condition (June 2023).
