Built around 1780, this Grade II listed former coaching inn is popular with locals, boaters, ramblers and cyclists, as it is close to the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal and Smestow Valley Nature Reserve.

It has multiple rooms and comprises of a lively tiled floor bar with local banter, a games room and a more sedate carpeted cosy snug.

Quizzes are held on Tuesday and a darts team plays on Wednesday. It hosts an annual charity dog show held around the end of Summer or beginning of Autumn and a weekly local pigeon flyers’ club.
