Built in the 1950’s as an off-licence, the first landlord served in the Chindit Regiment in Burma in WWII and named it after his comrades. Thought to be the only pub in the country honouring Major General Orde Wingate’s WWII special forces; their history is displayed in the lounge. The two-roomed pub consists of a small lounge and a bar featuring an original Wurlitzer juke box stocking 60's and 70's 45's. Live music every Friday and open mic night Sundays.
