Dating from 1886, a Victorian Grade II listed city-centre pub with ceramic tiled exterior and interior walls, original bar fittings, including rare snob screens, and little altered since a re-modelling in 1900 by local architect Fred T. Beck.

Renowned for its Jukebox and attracting a varied clientele, quiet during the day but busy evenings and weekends, especially when Wolverhampton Wanderers are at home. Courtyard to the rear with smoking area.

Lunchtime meals are served by an arrangement with the next door café. Cobs also available.
