Historic pub in a small village on the B4380 about 4 miles west of Ironbridge. Modernised but retaining an ancient mill wheel and original beamed timbers within. The building featured on the archaeological series 'Time Team' a few years ago. Situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Leighton, this community owned pub has recently been refurbished serving both drinks and freshly made, wholesome food. Photographs of Leighton village and the local area adorn the walls. Outside there is a covered seating and dining area. Vibrant and friendly pub which serves the lovely rural surroundings in beautiful mid-Shropshire. Closed on Mondays during the winter. Open on Bank Holidays.
