Opened in 2018 by two beer enthusiasts who wanted to create "the type of pub that we would like to drink in". There is one main room, but a semi dividing wall effectively produces two separate drinking areas with tables, chairs and stools which enhance a friendly intimate drinking atmosphere. It offers four cask ales from independent breweries plus a real cider, and an additional ten beers and a cider on tap. See Facebook for the latest offerings. A well-stocked fridge contains around 60 bottled and canned beers from far and wide. As with many micro-pubs, bar snacks, pies and scratchings are available, and you are welcome to bring your own food. The small chimney breast at the rear of the pub holds a selection of board games and books to help while away the time if desired. It's a quiet pub where good conversation is enjoyed between locals and visitors alike.
