Pub is near the centre of town near all the facilities Shifnal is noted for; takeaways, pubs and restaurants. Previously owned by Woods Brewery, The Crown is now independently owned. It has a large room at front with a central bar up a step. This, and the lack of suitable toilets, make it unsuitable for wheelchairs. There is a large room at the back of the bar and an entrance to a suntrap lounge with a covered area, and also a side entrance from the street. It serves constantly changing cask ales from local brewers, Enville, Salopian, Wye Valley, Backyard and Three Tuns.
