A gem, which has been in the Good Beer Guide for many years, known as "The Tiddly" because until extensions were added many years ago, it was small with just one room. It's a friendly rural community pub that welcomes locals, visitors, families and dogs alike. Six handpulls dispense three regular cask ales and three changing beers. Real still cider is available. Substantial cobs and bar snacks are always available. There are two open fireplaces, an extensive beer garden and a field at the back for camping. Dominoes are every Monday, poker on the last Tuesday of month and also Bike Night every Wednesday during March to October. It is one of the Rowton group of pubs and the original brewery is just a couple of miles away. Access for customers with disabilities is through the back of the pub.
