Taken over in 2018 by Joules, who owned the pub in the last century, this 250 year old building has been sympathetically restored and extended with a large restaurant and outside area, including undercover converted stables. The four beers are all from the Joule's range. The original bar has been retained and high seating installed around the windows. The lounge, with its large curved window overlooking the crossroads, has been updated and made more comfortable. There is a function room upstairs. Food is available until 7pm (Sun 5pm). There is a large car park.
