A Victorian Grade II listed village local opened in 1834 in historic Coalbrookdale. It is opposite the Enginuity Museum and close to the Iron Bridge and industrial heritage museums which are part of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage site. Seven hand pulls serve beers mainly from Shropshire and surrounding counties but also further afield, and the pub is LocAle accredited. This cosy pub welcomes dogs and families and has three rooms, two with real fires. A community local with dominoes, darts on Mondays, poker night on Tuesdays, a fortnightly quiz on Wednesdays, folk nights on last Thursday of the month, live music on the last Saturday of the month and occasional 'community eating' nights.
