Built in 1880 by local philanthropist Thomas Bellamy Dale, the building was know as Dale's Coffee Tavern and Hotel. The building was used by the local authority for many years before the Mosaic Pub and Dining Company refurbished it and opened it as a bar and restaurant in 2017. The bar is housed in a large wooden floored room with tall ceilings and many interesting original features including an internal windowed wall. At the rear is an enclosed yard.
