Impressive 15th century stone building. According to legend, in 1642 King Charles the First minted coins here to pay his troops after the battle of Edge Hill. Converted by John Liddington Leisure to mainly open plan, it retains plenty of timberwork together with displays of civil war guns, pikes and swords. A large outdoor seating area, part covered, has direct access from the public car park in Daventry Street.
