Warwickshire's first community-owned pub opened in 2017 after fundraising saved it from closure (it was purchased by a collective of more than 200 people). Located on a street corner in the heart of the village, the pub features a wooden floor and an open-plan interior that gives a light and airy feel. Food is locally sourced, with many specials on offer. Circular walks start and end at the pub. Local CAMRA Pub of the Year from 2021 to 2023 and Country Pub of the Year, 2024 and 2025.

There is a community shop on the pub site that is open 9am to 6pm Mon-Sat and 9am to 11am Sun. The shop stocks essentials and standard items as well as many 'treat' items. It also stocks a range of bottled local ales and ciders plus locally made wine, honey, preserves and ice cream.
