Converted from a carpet shop to a Hogshead pub by Whitbread, it opened in February 1997. This pub was acquired by Greene King in autumn 2004 and renamed The Old Butchers. Further renamed in October 2005 to The Copper Pot. Ideally suitated for both shoppers in the daytime, and revellers in the evenings. An open, modern interior it sports a widescreen TV, jukebox, raised seating area and a small beer garden at the rear.
