The Leopard is on the site of a former coaching inn that dates back to the 17th century. Parts of the building are Grade II listed.

Reopened after a refit in September 2024 as a gastropub.

The pub has several lounges and intimate alcoves along with several dining areas that can also be used for functions and special occasions.
