See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Grade II-listed village pub, featuring a number of cosy rooms around the bar area, and a quirky little space which was formerly the above-ground cellar. In the 18th century the upstairs rooms were used as a courthouse, and today’s dining room once served as the cells. Solid fuel heating gives a rosy glow in winter. Food is served Wednesday to Saturday evenings - often featuring themed evenings - and Sunday lunchtime. There is a separate children’s room.
