Traditional ale house whose main bar room looks out to the pretty market square. Small room to the rear, leading into the yard-cum-garden at the rear. In winter, the focal point is the cosy open fire in the bar, while in summertime the café-style seating to the front offers a popular sunshine trap. Five ever-changing ales, generally featuring unusual and rarer breweries. Trading as a public house since the late-19th century when it was known as the Cricketers' Arms.
