Modern-build pub sitting beside the Coventry Canal and the adjoining Alvecote Marina. There is plenty of garden seating, ideal for watching the canal-world go by. Boat mooring on the canal is available. Samuel Barlow was a local canal magnate, hence the items of canal memorabilia. Food is limited to rolls and hot pasties. The bar itself is a square, single space.
