See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Sprawling pub with plenty of characterful areas leading off from the central island bar. Sturdy beams, bare bricks and flagstone floors feature throughout, but an unmistakably modern feel. Two splendid log fires in winter. and a comfy restaurant to the rear. Separate pool table and TV room, but a TV also intrudes by the bar. Spacious car park, and a garden featuring a mock canal barge for kids. The guest ale tends to be big brewer.
