Owned by Lichfield City brewery in the early 1900s, this is now a Stonegate house. A central island bar serves two rooms. The small bar features a TV and fruit/game machines. The lounge has a real fire, and leads into the conservatory. Large grassy beer garden. Crusty cobs are available outside of normal food hours. East Midlands Scooter Alliance meet at the pub every month. Fish & Chips available from the visiting Chips To You van every Friday evening from 7pm. They can be eaten in the pub. Free overnight parking available for camper vans and mobile homes (but not caravans) via the Brit Stops scheme but must phone to book in advance.
