Tidy and picturesque red brick boozer, with hanging baskets and a sunny beer terrace at the front. The exterior is wonderfully old-fashioned, with etched and stained glass plus an ancient, still functional postal box built into the wall. The interior is rather more modern with contemporary decor and seating, plus juke box and TV. The single ale changes weekly and veers towards mainstream. Good value B&B to a high standard. May open later on weekends.
