Formerly the Crown, extensively refurbished in Q1 2024 by Heartwood Inns and renamed the Quill & Scholar. The entrance opens into a large well furnished lounge area with a mix of comfy seats and stools at higher tables. A selection of bar food is available. Further into the room is the restaurant meet and greet station leading into the L-shaped restaurant. Beyond the restaurant there is an outside area. Whilst adequately catering for the real ale drinker the emphasis is on quality food.
