17th century coaching inn originally named the Plough & Harrow, evident in some of the windows and signage, but now known simply as the Plough. The bar is modern and on the trendy side, with a pub grub menu available in the daytime. There’s a separate restaurant to the rear, nicely decorated and open daily. Outside is a large brick-paved beer terrace with a large plasma TV for occasional sports, plus a children's play area and garden. Thursday Quiz night.
