Kings HeadOld Watling Street
See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Lying close to the crossover of canal, railway and Watling Street, the pub attracts custom from all three transport modes. The building is a 1950s rebuild of much older pub. The drinking area to one side is compact and simply furnished, with a lounge area to the other side largely given over to dining. Both rooms are warmed by a central log-burning stove. A small lawned beer garden leads down to canalside moorings.
