Marston's hostelry on the fringes of the Borough of Newcastle, half way between the villages of Halmerend and Audley; there is a small bar area at the front, leading to an airy conservatory with a pool room off to the left. There is a large beer garden to the rear, complete with a children's play area, and a small car park to the front of the pub.
