Large, spacious pub just off the main road at the bottom of Kidsgrove; there is a good size bar area to the front complete with a dartboard, and a pool room to the rear. An extensive beer garden is to the back of the pub, leading down to the babbling brook, while picnic type benches are set out to the front for al fresco drinking. Entertainment is provided n Friday evenings, be it a quiz, karaoke or a DJ. Note that last orders for food is 15 minutes before the kitchen closes.
