A popular pub close to the Town Hall, the internal layout has been opened out to form one large drinking area, although there are a number of separate drinking areas on either side of the bar. Current licensee Kris tookover early in 2020 and the pub now sells food, with breakfast available from 10am. Food service finishes at 6pm, but take-away and deliveries can be ordered until closing time.

There is a television and major sporting events are screened regularly.
