This popular village local has become a regular entry in the GBG. Formerly a Mad O'Rourke pub, it still maintains a link to its quirky past with a selection of framed front pages from its own newspaper adorning the walls. As well as real ale, a selection of traditional fruit wines and single malt whiskies are always available. Good quality reasonably priced meals cooked by the licensee are served seven days a week, the Desperate Dan Cow Pie being the house speciality.
