See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
A welcoming traditional pub that has sat in the heart of the village since 1606. It features a public bar, side room with a real fire and an impressive lounge with a raised area for entertainment. Filled rolls and pies are available. A quiz night is held every Wednesday, a jazz night monthly on a Thursday and an Open Mike on the first Friday of the month. There is a large garden and children's play area at the rear overlooking the beautiful local countryside. The pub is popular with walkers and cyclists alike (no muddy boots in the lounge). Bathams XXX available in December.
