The pub, which takes it's name from the horse that won the 1894 and 1896 Grand National, used to be a two-roomed travellers rest. It has a traditional public bar and a large beamed `L` shaped lounge/restaurant with an inglenook fireplace. Also has marquee attached to the pub and garden has benches and view from the Ridgeway. Breakfast is served from 9am to noon on Saturdays. The restaurant and marquee can be booked for events/Weddings
