Expansive two bar pub, the public bar is to the right, the lounge / restaurant bit is to the left with a snug at the rear between the two. Quiz nights are held on the first Sunday of the month. There is a TV at the rear of the public bar, but is not obtrusive. The background music is usually just that. Food nights such as a curry and a pint and all you can eat buffets at reasonable prices are held regularly. Quiz nights are held on the First Sunday of the month, and "open the box" every Wednesday at 9pm. Live music is staged occasionally.
Occasional "all you can eat buffets" are held. Food is not served on Monday or Sunday evening.
Fields teams for the local darts and dominoes leagues and are active participants in local community events.
The bell-box at the rear of the public bar is noteworthy.
