Large pub in a village on the way to the Shropshire Hills from Shrewsbury. Within, it is mostly open plan, the front part having beams with a more modern extension to the rear. Food ingredients are locally souced as far as possible, a map in the bar shows the location of their suppliers. The brewer of the house beer is kept secret. There are tables outside the front and a garden and car park to the rear. Disabled access is via the carpark.
