Reverted to the Castle Vaults in 2018 after a period as the Vaults, this pub is abuts the walls of Shrewsbury Castle. It attracts a varied clientele and has a raucous, but friendly atmosphere. It is basically one room, but divides into various nooks and crannies on different levels. Sport is shown on several large TVs. DJs & live music feature on some Friday & Saturday nights, There is a rear courtyard used as a smoking area and a roof garden with views of the castle.
