See more about this pub on CAMRA's national web site

An 18th century pub situated in a pleasant village just outside Wem.

Re-opened November 2020 as part of the Craft and Jam Venues group after a long period of closure . Fully modernised and opened up interior decorated in a contemporary style. Outside seating to the front and rear of the pub. Popular for food which is of a high standard. Note that the Wainwright beers (usually Gold) are served by handoump, but are brewery conditioned and therefore not real ale as define by CAMRA. Other beers are cask conditioned.

Tilley is a pleasant walk along the River Roden from opposite Wem Mill (the building with a tall chimney).

May close earlier if quiet.
