Suffered significant damage in 2024 when a runaway artic collided with it. Reopened on 1/10/26 under the ownership of Black Country ales, it has been skillfully rebuilt. To the right of the front entrance is a smallish room and to the left is a large open plan room and the bar. The whole is comfortably furnished with pictures of bygone Shrewsbury on the walls. To the rear is a dartboard. At the back of the pub is a covered smoking area, garden and large carpark. Music is played throughout. Meals are not served though cobs, sausage rolls, scotch eggs and pork pies are available all day. There are eight handpumps, three dispensing Black Country beers, four changing guests and one cider which may not be "real" as defined by CAMRA.
