Former description.

The Longmynd Hotel is a prominent landmark in Church Stretton, situated as it is high above the town. It is possible to enjoy an interlude in the comfortable surroundings of the Terrace Bar with its super views over the Stretton Hills and the outdoor pool below. Bear in mind though hotel prices prevail. It's also worth noting that if the assault is being made on foot, then it can be quite a pant up the hill from the town! From February 2012, the hotel is being operated by HF Holidays. Indeed, some may say it's a great place to drink in real comfort! However, what has altered is that dogs are not allowed onto the whole site.

The hotel is now a private members club run by HF Holidays.
