Long thin pub with a rear garden backing on to the railway. Pool and darts are to the rear. There is a small snug on the left as you enter the pub. Sport is shown on TVs, but it is possible to escape them. A new landlady took over in Dec. 2023 and good value home cooked food is now available. It is hoped to increase the beer range. The pub may opne earlier when Shrewsbury Town FC home matches.
