Brunning & Price pub on the quayside by the River Severn. The interior is cavernous with bare floorboards and wooden furniture. One handpump dispenses a house beer from Brightside Brewery, the other seven dispense beers come from breweries near and far. Although geared towards dining, it is more than welcoming to those in search of liquid refreshment with stools at the bar. It is always busy, but service is efficient. Some beers are a little expensive by local standards. Often, though not always free of background music. Cider from the box from varying suppliers is available during summer months. Foodwise, a light menu of "elevenses" is served from 10am - noon with the main menu available thereafter. It is advisable to book ahead for food. Reopened on 2/8/24 following a lick of paint and spruce up. There are no discernible changes to the pub itself.
