Friendly club open to all. Housed in a large modern building just outside the town centre, it has two rooms, one of which houses a snooker table, pool table and dartboard. A TV in the bar shows major sporting events on terrestrial TV. Breakfast is served during the week from 9am, but alcohol is not available until 11am. The carpark at the front is pay & display and to the side are tables for outdoor drinking. Before Covid, real ales were served, but post Covid, sales never recovered and the handpumps were removed. Subsequently, a solitary handpump was installed selling "brewery fresh" Wainwright Gold which is not real ale as defined by CAMRA, but even this is likely to be removed because of poor sales.
