Previous description: Family and dog-friendly pub with wooden floors, hanging hops, open fires and some pew seating that gives a true country feel. The snug, a former parlour, is on CAMRA's Register of Historic Interiors. There's a separate dining room with great views and families are welcome. Six real ales and, sometimes, cider adorn the bar. Local seasonal ingredients are used in the range of pub food which is available midday and evenings (except Mondays), and on Sunday lunchtimes. A classic country pub, which opens all day on Bank Holiday Mondays. Level access to lounges and bar, step to WCs (not adapted).
