Reopened 5 December 2025 following complete refresh, kitchen opening in the new year, snacks and cobs until then.

A country pub with a two log burners, calm atmosphere, gastro-food and a restaurant area.

The attractive and very spacious terraced garden at the rear includes a patio, benches and seating. Children's outdoor play facilities include a 'floor is lava' assault course, pirate ship, slides and swings. There is a very comfortable smoking shelter. Also at the back is the 'barn', with its own bar. The pub does a lot of family functions, with the barn being in use several evenings a week. Classic Car Meets are on the 2nd Monday of each month from 6.30, and from noon on the last Sunday each month, and add a particularly interesting dimension. Up to 250 classic cars have been known to rally at the back of the pub. Happy hour on all beers every day 4-6pm.
