An attractive 17th century pub set in a pretty village conservation area, completely refurbished in 2020. There is ample parking next to the pub across the stream bridge, a colourful rear garden and stream-side terrace. Bar and restaurant meals are available all week with roasts on Sundays. Most of the veg is sourced locally. A tasting cheese board is on the menu and well-filled cobs are also available. The upstairs games room has three dart boards and some comfy sofas. There is a dog-friendly rear dining room and also a covered and a heated dining and drinking area in the garden at the back. Lockable cycle parking is available over the bridge in the car park, with adjacent picnic benches.
