Village local situated in a quiet access off the main road. Black and white exterior, the cosy beamed interior has a log burner in the lounge area and all walls are adorned with a very eclectic mix of artefacts and pictures. Ladies and Gents may appreciate the artistic black and white photos for their respective conveniences. One guest beer, sourced locally, is usually available. There are separate eating areas for the very good home made food, and customers may also eat in the bar. The large and attractively laid out garden has country views, benches, a play area for children and a large aviary with many varieties of colourful birds. At the back, the pub has a shop supplying local produce as well as butties, teas and coffees from 8am. There are four glamping sites for hire. The annual blues festival later in August is very popular and also events such as Halloween and Fireworks Night.
