A solid institution in Worcester. Known for serving the best pint of Guinness in Worcestershire, but also splendid Real Ales. The pub is a popular community local which has always been associated with niche activities such as backgammon, poetry reading & folk music. At the front is a no frills saloon which caters for all tastes but can get rather noisy. It has a cosy lounge bar offering a bar menu. Upstairs is the “SUGO” Italian restaurant, serving proper Italian food freshly prepared by an Italian chef. The "World" conker championship is held in early October.
