The pub is located on the old road up the hill and dates back several centuries, as does the imposing yew tree at the front which doubles as a smoking shelter. Large bar area with fireside tables one side and darts and pool the other. Magnificent views over the Teme and Severn valleys. Separate dining room adjoins for home made meals from locally sourced produce and can double as function room. The char grilled steaks are a speciality. Meals are served daily until 8.30pm and the Sunday roast until 4pm. Secluded garden to the rear. Frequented by darts teams, bell ringers, badminton players, and Young Farmers. Organised pheasant shoots and indoor rifle shooting. It is a venue for lawn mower racing in the summer. Shelsley Walsh hill climb is near by. Roast lunch on Sunday. Opens lunchtime by arrangement for groups, events, family get togethers, walkers and ramblers.
