Built in 1772 as three cottages, but converted into a pub in the early 1800s, this former Offilers hostelry has been a privately-owned free-house since 1977. Inside, three rooms are linked in a U-shape around a central serving area. The front entrance opens into the 2-section public bar, with a two steps up to a pool room beyond (and access to the beer garden). The smarter lounge is to the right, across the front of the pub, where an old Bill of Sale (dated 1865) can be seen. The beer garden comprises a concrete patio with multi-level decking beyond.
