Imposing two-roomed popular local, thought to date back to the early 1800s, when it was called the Marquis of Anglesey. The large public bar and large L-shaped lounge are situated on opposite sides of a central serving area and each has its own front entrance, though linked by a corridor to the rear. Unusually, the public bar is divided into two by an archway. Extensive menu of fairly standard pub food, ranging from snacks to full meals, plus traditional Sunday roasts. The grounds include a bowling green; 4 bowls teams (2 men's, 2 ladies) are based here.
